Judgment part II

Welcome. I went to greet elder on a Sunday evening and met him siting outside shortly after he recoverd from an ailment. Other family members were inside the house. Far to his left hand side were plastic chairs placed on top each other irregularly arranged. So I went for one of them. I tried to remove the one I felt was okay. As I was doing that, I lifted my head and saw another one that was alone, I guess it was used by someone who also came to greet him. I carried this particular one. As I sat down next to him he said, you have done the practical of what I wanted to teach you today being a continuation of where we stopped last time.
The plastic chairs, he said were the feelings/emotions, the art of choosing which chair to sit on is the thinking or thoughts while sitting down is the desire fulfilled.
Therefore whenever you have irrational feelings, you should ask yourself the following questions before you end up in actions you may likely regret:
(a) the first thing you did when you came in here was that you felt the need to be comfortably sitted. In other words you asked yourself what was truly going on in this circumstances / situation as we have it?
(b) what other choices for action exist in this particular event?
(c) which of the choices is superior (or unexceded)? How do I know this choice is the best?
(d) in what other perspective can I see this situation?
(e) can this situation / event reoccur in the future? If yes what sets of reasoning can I develop now that may help me in the future?
Sincerity is vital when putting these tidbits to work. You must be deliberately interested in making these changes otherwise it will not work.
Thank you for your time with me today. Do well also to join me next time for a fresh episode. Till then, don't forget to rule your world.
