Sentiments
A personal belief or judgment that is not based on proof or certainty. It however means that there are so called 'facts' that are make-belief that we hold on to tenaciously and could be obstructing out progress or freedom.
How do those baseless beliefs created or formed in the first place and what can we do to be emancipated?
(1) Public opinion: a great number of public opinion has been found to be cooked up stories and often time politically inspired or sponsored to fulfill goal(s) best know to the sponsor. These types is hard to dodge, and can only be avoided by reading articles, surveys, magazines from the particular profession in which this public opinion talked about or by speaking with expert experts in these fields.
(2) Fake Men of God: And many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many (Matthew 24 : 11 KJV). This portion of the scriptures clearly warns us of the danger in not being careful on who we trust as a man of God. The main weakness we have that prevents us from sporting this types is because we are not studying the religious books enough ourselves. This make us not to know (a) the features of evil people (b) the commandments of God ourselves that are written therein (c) the doctrine and lifestyle of normal religious people. All these make us easy catch for them.
(3) Part education: ignorance they say is a disease. Whenever you see school drop-out, especially those who commit one crime or the other and were sent out of college, then you are seeing a potential sentiment workhorse who generate and distributes it at will. They do this basically because they have decided never to try and keep trying. Beside, in order to justify their unproductive life they cook up various sorts of alibis. Unfortunately, children and friends of these ones are likely going to inherit this communicable disease. Unless careful and committed effort is weilded in terms of self enlightenment such as reading great books, associating with right people, and attending great institutions such may not be corrected.
(4) Environment: The type of environment an individual grows up may dictate to a great extent the quality of Peers that nutures his thought and general mental faculty. Hence, it is essential to monitor, observe and screen your environment when you have children growing up, elder sternly warns.
It should be noted that every human being alive has a degree of sentiment or the other in one area of life or the other and that includes me elder noted. I only pray that my eyes should be opened to them early enough before I reap its ugly reward(s) whispered elder.
